We are a specialty coffee roastery in Latvia. A shared pursuit of knowledge and a passion for learning has always been the force driving us towards a deeper understanding of coffee.

In 2017, in the best tradition of great ideas starting small, two dreamers who mean business – Gatis and Raimonds – began roasting coffee in a small garage. In 2019, we opened our first coffee shop in Riga and earned the first mark of recognition with a 2nd place at the international Roast Masters competition. In 2025 we returned to take the 1st place.

These international competition results show our professional approach to every roast with both technical skill and creativity. With Q Arabica Graders certification KALVE team members are internationally qualified to evaluate and score green and roasted coffee. This knowledge and experience help us to continue raising the bar in quality control and strengthening the trust of the coffee community.
