KALVE Old Town is our sixth location in Riga, opened on March 21, 2025.

Come for the coffee, stay for the pastries, or take a bag of freshly roasted beans home with you.

The space takes its cue from an artist's studio - a kind of creative archive, where sculpture fragments, artworks, and antique pieces sit alongside natural materials and textured walls. Art and everyday life blend into one story here.

Every cup becomes part of that process - meant to be enjoyed slowly, among the textures, the light, and the stories the space holds.

Yes. KALVE follows Specialty Coffee Association (SCA) standards for both roasting and brewing, and only works with coffee that scores at least 82 out of 100 on the SCA scale. That's above the 80 point threshold required for a coffee to be classified as specialty.

Yes, KALVE uses Sproud pea-protein milk, a more environmentally friendly option that doesn't overpower the coffee's flavor. It comes in three varieties: classic, vanilla, and sugar-free.

There's no Wi-Fi at KALVE Old Town, but laptops are welcome. We have tables set aside for laptop use here, with a few marked "No laptops" for guests who'd rather sit away from a keyboard. We just ask that you're considerate of other visitors so there's always space to go around.

Yes, well-behaved dogs are welcome at KALVE Old Town, as long as they're supervised by their owner and don't disturb other guests.
