Roberts Rūrāns is an illustrator and artist known for simple, expressive forms, bright, clearly structured compositions and a subtle sense of irony. He has collaborated with cultural institutions, media and brands in Latvia and abroad, including The New York Times, The Olympics, Hermès, airBaltic and Madara Cosmetics. His first solo exhibition, Chestnut and the Universe, presented at Zuzeum Art Museum, reveals the breadth of his work – from bold illustrations to more personal, spiritual imagery.
To celebrate our continuous cooperation with Sancoffee, we're happy to produce this signature filter coffee that will bring the best of coffee classics, roasted in a manner that respects the terroir and the hard work of the farmers of Sancoffee. The coop was born in 2000 as a speciality coffee cooperative and has ever since grown to be a B-Corp certified and CO2 Neutral coffee producer.
Since its fundation, Sancoffee has been the main driving force for quality in the Campos das Vertentes region. They strive to consistently produce amazing coffees, using the most advanced and sustainable agricultural practices, empowering coffee growers to access international markets and build long-lasting relationships with roasters around the globe.
Roast info
This coffee is roasted for filter - meaning, a light roast. We roast our seasonal coffees in this manner because we wish for the coffee to shine as it is - for it to display the characteristics that have produced its excellent quality. This kind of roast allows the natural flavours, acids and sugars of the coffee to be in the front, and lets you learn about its origin through taste. As the name says, it's best used in filter coffee methods, such as drip or immersion, so while making an espresso from these is possible, it could prove tricky.

We recommend you enjoy this coffee within 3 months of the roasting date.
Store in a dry and cool place, between +16 and +25 degrees.
This coffee's cycle from farm to your cup has been one of honesty and hard work. We source our coffees from producers that use environmentally-friendly growing practices, roast it so that it's consistently good, package it in materials that either recycle or can be refilled and deliver the coffee with emissions in mind.
