Terrible landslides tore over northern Rwanda, eradicating 325 homes, taking 28 lives, and devastating coffee plantations, including the well-known Shyira and Vunga Coffee Washing Stations. The infrastructure of their towns, including the water and electricity supplies, was damaged, and many hundreds of farmers were forced from their homes.
